Description
Cantus is a systemic fungicide for the fight against botrytis in the vine with preventive and curative action and alternariosis in apple and pear trees, as well as botrytis and alternarosis in the pomegranate tree. It also fights botrytis and alternarosis in kiwi in post-harvest applications. The active group boscalide belongs to the group of carboxamide and acts by preventing cellular respiration in complex II of the respiratory chain.
Cantus stops the germination of spores, the growth of mycelium and the formation of appresoria, with which the fungus penetrates into plant tissues, displaying mainly preventive but also therapeutic action at the onset of infection.
