Description
ELUMIS 105 OD, is a systemic metaphytic herbicide for the control of annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds in maize that moves upwards and downwards within the plant. Weeds absorb the herbicide from the leaves, shoots and roots and stop their growth soon after application. Mesotrione inhibits the biosynthesis of plasticin and carotenoids by acting on the 4-HPPD enzyme. Nicosulfuron acts by blocking the enzyme ALS, a synthetase of oxalactate.
