Description
Metaphytic, systemic, eclectic foliar herbicide of the group of pheno hydroxyalcanoates to combat annual and some perennial broad-leaved weeds in Winter Cereals (wheat, barley, rye, oats) and lawn. It is absorbed mainly by the leaves of weeds. It moves systemically in plant tissues through both the simulator and the apoplast and is concentrated in young meristomatic tissues. It causes epinastia and asymmetric growth of plants with a characteristic twisting of leaves and their young shoots and affects breathing, reserves of essential nutrients and cell division. At the biochemical level, 2,4-D acts like natural auxins.
