Description
Tebufenozide is a growth regulator of insects and mimics the action of ekdysone, a hormone that changes the integument of lepidoptera larvae. It causes the early change of the integument of the larvae resulting in their death within 2-4 days. It is not systemic and acts mainly by ingestion, while it has minimal action with contact. It is active mainly in larvae, less in eggs, while it has no action on the thriving.
