Description
Contact fungicide with interphastic motion. It contains pyrimethanil, which belongs to the chemical group of anilinopyrimidines, with action mainly against the botrytis of the vine and other horticultural crops, as well as the fusikladi of the apple and pear trees, the post-harvest diseases of the apple trees, the gray rot in the almond tree and the vault in the pistachio tree. The biological action of Scala® 40 SC on sensitive pathogenic fungi is localized in inhibiting the secretion of hydrolytic enzymes by fungi necessary for the plant infection process. Thanks to this mechanism of action, Scala® 40 SC is effective against strains of fungi that are not sufficiently sensitive to other botridicides. As for the scab, its action is both preventive as therapeutic (even 2-3 days after the infestation).
