Mr. Thanasis Kountrias is an agronomist and is a shareholder of Agromechaniki Volos SA. since 1997 which is the year of its establishment. Since 2014 he is the president of the company.

He is a graduate of the Department of Agriculture of the School of Geotechnical Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has a postgraduate degree (M.SC.) in “Molecular Biology” at the Humbodt University in Berlin and in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in “Marketing”.

He is responsible for the development of the company’s agri-environmental and development programs, as well as the company’s branch in Velestino, where the main activities are large crops, arboriculture and vegetables.

He has a degree in design from the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks of categories 25A (Studies of phytotechnical landscaping and green works) and 27A (Environmental Studies) (Presidential Decree no. 256/1998) with Registration Number: 22143, and researcher of GEO.TE.E. for studies of improvement plans, young farmers, organic agriculture, integrated management, with Register Number of authors of Improvement Plans and Action Plans: SSBD – 1/2286.

Mr. George Katsaferis graduated in 2012 from the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has certified knowledge in disinfestations – rodenticides and is responsible for the specific sector of the company. He speaks English and French.

He works at Agromechaniki Volou SA since October 2011 and today holds the position of CEO specializing in horticultural crops and vegetables.

Mr. Stamatis Kountrias is an agronomist, a graduate of the School of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 1973 it has been active in the field of marketing of plant protection products. Initially for a short time as an agronomist – seller in a large Greek company trading in plant protection products and then, from 1974 to 1997 as owner of the company trading in agricultural supplies “PHYTOPHARM STAMATIS KOUNTRIAS AND CO. EE”. From 1997 (year of its foundation) until today it is a shareholder of the agricultural supplies trading company “AGROMICHANIKI VOLOU SA”.

From 1997 to 2010 he was president of the company and head of its branch in Velestino, Magnesia.

The main areas of activity in the branch are large crops, arboriculture and in recent years and vegetables.
