Pays well the new greening for any farmer who catches the meaning

11/01/2022

With 60 euros per acre, the innovative sowings are compensated, it leaves 144 euros in the organic grape and 3 euros in the acre for biostimulants in the arable trees.

In the end, it pays well for the new greening for any farmer who catches the meaning and acts with the new demands

1 – Use of durable and adapted species and varieties

A. Aid to producers for the cultivation of specific varieties of winter cereals and pulses, for food or feed, of a small biological cycle.

B. Aid to producers for the cultivation of local varieties of annual and/or species and varieties adapted to local conditions and/or wild cereals of affinity.

C. Aid to producers for the introduction of new and/or innovative and/or innovative use of crops resistant to dry and hot conditions and to changes expected due to climate change.

At 60 euros/acre the average compensation.

It is not possible to grant farm aid for more than one of the above described actions on the same parcel.

2 – Extension of the application of ecological focus areas

The intervention consists of the following three alternative actions on arable land and concerns:

On holdings whose available arable land is less than 10 hectares: 5% of the arable land of the holding is converted into an ecological focus area if the ecological focus area consists of land lying fallow and/or elements of the rural landscape.
On all holdings with an arable area: 10% of the arable land of the holding is converted into an ecological focus area if the ecological focus area consists of land lying fallow and/or elements of the rural landscape.
In farms that have an arable area which create an ecological focus area consisting of intercalated crops or crops that bind nitrogen (in any case without the use of plant protection plants), elements of the rural landscape and fallow, 10% of which at least 60% should be committed to land under fallow and/or non-productive elements of the landscape.
Annual compensation for ecological focus zones 5%

The amount of compensation results from the loss of income.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 5% on maize parcels is estimated at EUR 5.7/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on potato parcels is estimated at EUR 32.1/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on parcels with sugar beet is estimated at 6.5 euros/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on parcels with vegetables is estimated at 42.1 euros/acre.

Average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on cotton parcels is estimated at EUR 9.9/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on parcels with winter cereals is estimated at EUR 7.25/ha.

Average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 5% on parcels with winter legumes is estimated at 7.6 euros/acre.

Annual compensation for ecological focus zones 10% on holdings with an arable area of more than 10 hectares

The amount of compensation results from the loss of income.

An average compensation for an ecological focus area of 10 % on maize parcels is estimated at EUR 6,8/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 10 % on potato parcels is estimated at EUR 38,5/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 10 % on parcels with sugar beet is estimated at EUR 7,8/ha.

Average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with vegetables is estimated at 50.5 euros/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on cotton parcels is estimated at EUR 11.9/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with winter cereals is estimated at EUR 8.7/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with winter legumes is estimated at 9.1 euros/acre.

The amount of compensation results from the loss of income.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 10 % on maize parcels is estimated at EUR 11,4/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 10 % on potato parcels is estimated at EUR 64,2/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological focus zone of 10 % on parcels with sugar beet is estimated at EUR 13/ha.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with vegetables is estimated at 84.2 euros/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on cotton parcels is estimated at EUR 19.8/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with winter cereals is estimated at EUR 14.5/acre.

An average compensation for an ecological catering zone of 10% on parcels with winter legumes is estimated at 15.2 euros/acre.

3 – Implementation of ecological focus zones on arboreal trees

The intervention concerns:

Sowing within permanent trees, host plants of beneficial and/or pollinators, in the midst of trees or species not intended for production and/or species (e.g. legumes), with the aim of maintaining and/or increasing organic matter in the soil, reducing the use of synthetic fertilizers by partially covering the nutrient needs of crops through green manure.
Creation of lanes at least 2 meters wide of wildlife or enrichment of existing ones by planting herbaceous, perennial or shrubs, especially host plants beneficial and/or pollinators, on the margins of parcels with permanent plantations.
The species used should be selected in such a way as not to increase the risk of spreading pests and diseases and depends on local ecological, agronomic and socio-economic conditions.

In order to make this possible, the intervention includes the establishment of a specific biodiversity management plan for the farm which will document the suitability of the proposed species.

Aid of 25 euros per acre.
