From 23 May to 30 September, applications for assistance to the “Modernisation of the Primary Sector” programme will be accepted, in accordance with the notice issued with a budget of EUR 100 million. euro for holdings of all types and production systems of plant and animal production.
According to the notice, the following will be able to apply in this program:
- Farmers’ collective schemes.
- Cottage industries-processing of farmers who process their own product (at least 40% degree of vertical integration).
- Processing undertakings if they process agricultural and at least 40% of the raw materials used come from contract farming.
- Agribusinesses that commit to vertically integrate their unit for at least 3 years starting from the following year from the completion of the implementation of the investment.
